Nintendo Switch games list blow following massive restock notice

FANS MAY be disappointed to hear the latest Nintendo Switch games list news this week, following the big restock notice posted by the company today.

It was hoped that the Nintendo Switch games list was set to be bolstered by a brand new blockbuster.

South Park The Fractured But Whole - which has been delayed multiple times on Xbox One and PS4 - looked to be heading to the Nintendo Switch this year.

Speculation began when the official South Park Twitter page posted a tweet that mentioned the company.

The tweet reads: "Nin-ten-do. I'm coming. I'm coming, Nin-ten-do."

Publisher Ubisoft failed to make any official announcement regarding Switch availability, but the timing of the tweet was rather odd, otherwise.

That was until today, when a representative for the South Park studio confirmed to IGN: “South Park: The Fractured But Whole won't be coming to [the Nintendo] Switch.”

It appears that the original tweet was in fact referencing a storyline in the upcoming season of South Park.

It follows news of a major Nintendo Switch Restock in the UK.

Nintendo Switch stock at online retailers such as Amazon, GAME UK, Very.co.uk and Base.com are still in a pre-purchase state.

But this morning the Grey version of the Nintendo Switch came back in stock at the official Nintendo website, while Argos was also selling both the grey and neon versions.

The console was selling for the RRP of £279.99 with free delivery.

And While fans can still head over to the official UK Nintendo Store to purchase a console, it has now flipped back to the Pre-purchase status.

“Initial stock has sold out - we anticipate more stock to arrive in late March,” a message from Nintendo explains.

“Customer orders will be fulfilled in the order they are placed.”

Online retailer 365Games have also now sold out of the Nintendo Switch Grey version.

The retailer began listing the Switch as available to purchase for £329.99 at 2.30pm - but it sold out three hours later.

The official Nintendo store also received a restock of the Grey and Neon Switch consoles, and began selling them again at around 10am.

However, those were quickly snapped up after an hour and a half - with the store now only offering pre-purchase on consoles that will be delivered later this month.
